Our Leaders

Brenda Pye is an Operations professional with over 30 years of experience mainly in the financial services industry. Brenda is from Natchitoches, Louisiana where she was born and reared. She relocated to Houston soon after high school.  Brenda worked for a Fortune 500 company for almost 20 years traveling the United States servicing Clients with a focus on the “C” Suite and Senior Management. Brenda won numerous awards for her performance and was invited to conferences to celebrate her achievements such as the President’s Award. Through mergers and acquisitions, Brenda started working with smaller businesses helping them to solidify their business with creating standard operating procedures and improving systems with the latest technology. Brenda has worked for Bethel’s Family Christian Academy since 2017 in various roles. She is currently the Director.  Brenda’s background is in business however she is learning all about education and the non-profit sector. Brenda has earned her CDA – Child Development Associate certificate and is considering a degree in education. 

Alicia Sanchez has a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas Southern University and a Masters in Educational Administration from Lamar University. She has been in education for over 7 years in both Houston and Alvin ISD. Through her educational experience, Alicia has worked in leadership on school campuses and assisted in curriculum writing. Alicia values Christian education and believes in a solid foundation of faith for all children.

As the First Lady of The Church at Bethel’s Family and Co-founder of Bethel’s Family Christian Academy, Ruby August ensures that children grow spiritually, mentally and physically within a safe and nurturing environment. She is passionate about partnering with parents to promote excellence in learning, character development and spiritual growth.
